On August 19, 2014 there will be a green building webinar for the latest news in LEED (version 4) green building. The program is presented by University of Minnesota Extension and Sustainable Forests Education Cooperative.
Titled, “What’s New in Green Building Standards,” the presentation will overview the latest iteration of the LEED standards from the United States Green Building Council. While it is aimed at natural resource professionals and sourcing professionals, the webinar will undoubtedly be an interesting perspective for anyone interested in green building – whether from a construction or environmental point of view.
The webinar is next Tuesday, August 19, at 12:00-1:00pm CST (11am MST). To register, click here: http://z.umn.edu/2014webinars. The cost is $20.
While Jared Ogden, president and founder of Black Canyon Builders, is a certified green building professional, neither he nor the the company are affiliated with this webinar. It simply looks interesting to us, particularly as presented from a forestry perspective. Enjoy!
