The timber frame hybrid/remodel in downtown Durango is coming along. It’s been fully enclosed for quite some time, but I wanted to update the blog with some photos that I haven’t had a chance to post.
The above image is of two arch collar ties, which are structural ~ yet decorative. An arch collar ties the rafters to the interior posts. I find the graceful curve of this set particularly attractive.
The below images (x2) show how quickly the SIPs panels go up. Note the variety of sizing in SIPs panels, plus the precision cuts that Woodhouse is able to achieve because the timber frame and SIPs panels are cut at the same time.
