Day Two of raising the Woodhouse timber frame on the Day House Property at 15th Street and the East 3rd Avenue Historic District in Durango.
The two primary additions yesterday were the entire south side of the building (roadside in the images below) and the beginning of the second story. The framing of the second story walls is sized to accommodate an historically appropriate height and roof pitch for the neighborhood. The interior will feel spacious, with interesting architectural detail.
